What is a community solar bill credit and how does it show up?
A community solar bill credit is a line on your normal electric bill representing power produced by your share of a local solar farm. You pay for those credits at a discount to their face value, and that discount is your saving.

You keep the same utility, the same bill and the same emergency number. Depending on the project, the credit and the discounted subscription charge either both appear on your utility bill or the subscription is billed separately.
Credits appear within the next 2-3 billing cycles after your utility processes the enrollment.
